This past month has been an unusual one, working at Carat studio in Bordeaux, France, while staying in the Count’s cobwebbed castle. No ghosts ever presented themselves, but it has been confirmed that Jaye Muller, quite literally, has bats in his belfry.
I have had the honor of composing the music for a short film entitled “Melody”, by up-and-coming Filipino writer/director Peter Mancao. I just viewed the rough cut, and was genuinely moved by this simple story of a young girl who dreams of being a concert violinist. Look out for it in a film festival near you.
Here you see the back of my head, as I’m listening to the orchestra playing one of my compositions, during the shoot of the film’s climax.
