“Today is the day lovers fatten with glee / but needless to say, ain’t no roses for me.”

Happy Valentine’s Day, folks.
I imagine I’m not the only single sentimental who felt a little singler than usual today. However, a loyal fan, and a very talented singer and pianist in his own write, named Colin Kinlund, made my Valentine’s day a whole lot brighter. He sent me this mp3 of his own splendid cover version of a composition I wrote on a Valentine’s day many years ago, called “Valentine’s Blues”.
“Valentine’s Blues” appeared on a home-made CD I recorded in 2000, called “A Thing in Motion”; probably the most popular of the unofficial albums I self-published in my late teens.
Thanks Collin, for my V-day gift, and allowing me to share it with everyone:

That…was so…trippy.
One of my favorite songs by one of my favorite people covered by one of my favorite people. Also striking is he has your accent (yeah, you’re both from VT, but I mean your *singing* accent) down, but still doesn’t really sound like you.
I got roses today! I ordered them from the eighth-grade fund raiser. Everyone on the bus home thought I was soo0O0oo popular!
I got no roses…
…but we did fatten up on Chinese food. That was gleeful! ;D
